Turning Blue have been one of the busiest bands in Victoria since their
formation in 1993. In the next two years, they performed around 150 gigs a
year, both in Victoria and interstate, released a cassette, and placed third
in the 1995 Australian Blues Performer of the Year award, held in Melbourne
in February 1995.
Since that time, Turning Blue have put the proverbial pedal to the metal,
playing an exhaustive round of gigs and recording not one but two CDs.
Night Time, their first CD, captures the essence of the band while
Years and Years shows just how far they have come in one short year.
They perform regularly as guest band at shows organised by the Melbourne
Blues Appreciation Society and the Geelong Sleepy Hollow Blues Club.
Band members:
Darren Blake: drums, backing vocals
Andrew Crossley: drums
