Formed in 2000, '65 Mustang comprise musicians from diverse backgrounds
who got together to share their love of blues based rock. Members
of '65 Mustang have previously performed in rock and roll, funk, hard
rock, top forty and 60/40 bands, and as solo artists and in duos in
South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania.
An initial 5 track demo in 2000 was followed up with the 10 song "Live
at the Bank" in 2001, and both CDs have received good airplay on
various blues radio programs around the country. '65 Mustang's cover
of "Blue Feeling" also features on the Blues Oz 2001 Compilation CD.
Based in Adelaide, '65 Mustang have settled on a high energy formula
that blends blues with sixties rock and features the powerful vocal
style of Corinne Rochford.
