Blind Henry was formed by Adrian Dent and Michael O'Flaherty--two Port
MacDonnell guys sick of performing in the "shed". As the band grew, so did
its style until what began as a boogie outfit metamorphosed into an indigenous
style of the blues that the Blind Henry could call its own.
Blind Henry was formed specifically with the aim of recording rather than
just playing live, and the band's debut CD, "Talking Braille", was recorded
fairly early in the its life. Egos took a battering in the studio as the CD
took shape, but the final result is something of which all the band members
feel proud.
